Speaker Series: "Faith and Today's World"
Faith and Today's World Speaker Series:
The Community church of Issaquah is sponsoring a speaker series to address issues of faith as it relates to today's world. Speakers will be active people of faith with expertise in their area. The series will be at the Issaquah Public Library in order to provide more conventient access for the public. All interested persons of any faith are encouraged to attend. These sessions will be from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday a month. Topics will include:
"Faith and the Challenges of Immigration"-- April 17th -- DONE!

"Faith and Responding to Poverty" -- August 21st -- DONE! We were a small group on this nice Summer day, but Rev. Leah Klug opened our hearts and minds about how we can make a difference.
